The Board held regular quarterly meetings on January 10, 2025, and April 17, 2025. A special meeting on January 24, 2025, was held to receive an update from the Tennis Court Committee. Minutes for the January meetings may be found on the Minutes and Meetings page. The April 17th meeting minutes will be posted when approved.

An Owner Informational Meeting was held on May 13, 2025, to receive Owner input on the Board’s recommendations for the outdoor courts. The presentation and briefing following the meeting may be found on the Minutes and Meetings page.

The next meeting of the Board is a special meeting on June 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM MDT with the main topic being recommendations for the Summerwood roads. Owner input is encouraged.

The next regular quarterly board meeting is scheduled for July 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM MDT.

ANNUAL MEETING OF OWNERS

The Annual Meeting of Owners is scheduled for August 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM MDT at the Summerwood Clubhouse. The Annual Owner Party is scheduled for August 1, 2025, at 5:30 PM MDT. Annual Meeting materials and the Party invitation will be mailed/emailed 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

The Board is currently in negotiations to contract for painting the exterior surfaces of the Summerwood buildings. Owners will be notified when this work commences.

The Summerwood HOA has adopted policies pertaining to fire mitigation, tree replacement, and evacuation in the Policies, Procedures and Rules Manual (this is a long document, so just go to the table of contents and click on the section number that you want to read).

Thanks to above-average precipitation this summer, Summit County is enjoying an unusually lush August landscape with abundant wildflowers, but not all wildflowers are good for the environment. The 2004 Colorado Noxious Weed Act states that we all have a duty to manage noxious weeds, so I’d like to highlight the numerous resources available to help us identify and control noxious weeds in Summit County:
