Spring wildlife safety
Black Bears in Colorado typically hibernate from mid-November to mid-March, and right on schedule, we spotted a bear in our neighborhood on March 18. We have a rich variety of wildlife in our neighborhood that includes foxes, moose, lynx, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, and more. It is never a good idea to feed wildlife, so please remember to bring your trash cans and bird feeders inside at night.
