Please join us on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from at 11 am to 12:30 pm via Zoom to learn more about the Summerwood wildfire mitigation survey that was recently completed. Kerry emailed the zoom invitation to all members on February 27, 2023 along with a link to download the report for the Summerwood Common Land.

This informational forum is intended to answer your questions regarding how the tree survey was performed, what the “ribbon” designations mean on the trees you may have noticed in and around your properties, what the Zones refer to, and any other questions you may have regarding the specific mitigation steps recommended in the reports.  Community experts will also present regarding the pros and cons regarding creating defensible space on the Summerwood Commons.

The Board is evaluating to what extent it will implement the mitigation recommendations on HOA common land, the timing for any such implementation, and how to pay for such.  Owner input will be critically important to the board in our deliberations.
